Here are some hints to help you with your search:

1. Try including any Prefix/Suffix/Middle initials with your last name, but be sure to also try a search with only your first and last name.
2. If you normally refer to yourself by a nickname, be sure to search for both your legal name and your "nickname."
3. Try and recall all the names and states you've lived in over the course of your lifetime. Remember, a refund a company may have owed you 30 years ago will still be held by the State and you will always be entitled to that money.
4. If you have lived in many different states, it's faster to do a search for "All States," instead of searching one-by-one.
5. If you have ever changed your name (first or last), or you're searching on behalf of a relative who has had his/her name changed, be sure to search for unclaimed property under all possible names.
