The easy, quick answer is "It Depends."
Many ex-felons who have been "rehabilitated" or who were convicted of "minor" felonies have problems finding work after their conviction(s). At that point, you can probably pick from only a handful of career choices. Probably the best paying option is to try and join the U.S. Military.
