(Please register to view this content in its entirety)

Wealth of Help has done extensive research into unclaimed funds programs and across the nation.  We maintain one of the most comprehensive databases on both state and federal programs available and we update it frequently with new "insider" information.

Oursearchable database includes far more than just a list of names and numbers:  It allows you to search most Unclaimed Funds listings available. Each listing in our directory contains the following information:

US - IRS - Unclaimed Stimulus Rebate Checks

Overview

(Please register to view this content in its entirety)

In 2008, the US Government issued a special tax credit called the recovery rebate credit. This is related to the stimulus rebate checks that were sent out in 2008. If you did not apply to receive your stimulus check, this tax credit will allow you to receive the amount applied to your taxes, either receiving it as a refund or reducing your taxes. Those who did not receive their economic stimulus payment (or did not receive what they were fully entitled to) in 2008 are eligible for the credit.

US - IRS - Unclaimed Tax Refunds

Overview

(Please register to view this content in its entirety)

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) collects taxes as the primary source of income for the US Government. They collect both individual income taxes as well as business taxes.

Each year, the IRS is unable to return millions of dollars to taxpayers because they are unable to locate them due to a mislabeled address, taxpayer relocation, incorrect account information or a number of other reasons.

If you have not received your tax refund, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) maintains a site where you can check on the status of your refund.

International - FMS - Unpaid Foreign Claims

Overview

(Please register to view this content in its entirety)

When an American loses property in a foreign country as a result of war or national takeover, the US government will often try and seek compensation from that country. This also includes reimbursement for certain categories of Veterans who may have suffered injury in a war.

This program can be confusing because it involves two different departments: The Justice Department runs the Foreign Claims Settlement Commission (FCSC) which determines the validity and financial amount to be awarded. Then the Treasury Department oversees the claims process and distribution of awards.
