Millions of dollars await people to step forward and claim themThe Nevada State Treasurer recently told a local News channel that there's more than $200 million in unclaimed property at the Nevada State Treasury Department. If you ever lived or worked in Nevada, some of this could be yours. "This is not my money.  This is not the state's money.  It's your money.  It's the people of Nevada's money," says Kate Marshall, State Treasurer.

The money comes in all forms - treasury bills and silver bars, rare coins and custom jewelry. All of it just sitting there, just waiting to be claimed by the rightful owners. Just click here to go to the Nevada State Treasurer's unclaimed property web site.

Keep in mind that the The Treasurer's Office is planning an auction on December 6th at noon, and the public is invited to bid on any unclaimed property.
